So this week’s blog is going to be a little different…rather than chat about something health and wellness related, we wanted to share with you some more upcoming workshops and classes with Stream Point Wellness & Bella Forza Fitness. Valentine’s Weekend is just around the corner, and whether your looking forward to a romantic time with a loved one, or some fun-loving time with friends and family, we’ve got it all!
Couples Massage Class:
Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to give and receive massages from your loved one when you’re sitting on the couch in front of a fire or a film? Giving and receiving affection is a deeply important part of intimacy. Learning to massage each other with love and the right skills is a great way to bring love and affection into your relationship; it’s the gift that keeps on giving and receiving! This workshop, taught by Mandy Kiley LMT, will focus on learning simple body mechanics and techniques with a focus on helping your partner ease tension and stress. It is designed to be interactive, but you will only be working with your partner under the guidance of the instructor…but mostly it is meant to be fun!
Couple’s Yoga & Champagne
Yoga, while traditionally thought of as a solo practice, can actually be a great relationship building exercise. Partnered yoga poses are not only fun, they are a great way to connect and strengthen your relationship. It provides you both an opportunity to move and stretch together, and most importantly, to communicate with each other and move with sensitivity for your partner. Aren’t these some skills that every relationship can benefit from? When done correctly, partner yoga not only elevates each person’s individual yoga practice, but can also strengthen relationships between its participants. It’s a great thing to do with your significant other, but also with a friend, or family member. Also, we’ll finish up sipping on some champagne and make a toast to love…what a way to end!
Single’s Yoga Mixer & Mimosas
Valentine’s weekend can and should be celebrated by everybody, whether you’re involved in an intimate relationship or not…it is a celebration of love. So on Sunday, join us for a regular yoga class where we’ll have some fun with our yoga practice and finish up with some yummy mimosas, music, and socializing. A great opportunity to socialize with friends and make new ones!
